Bike Course – due to traffic lights on a stretch of the advertised route, we have changed the bike route, this will turn right out of the lake entrance, loop anti clockwise and turn right back into the venue. We have contracted traffic control officers to assist with this safe entry and exit but please note this may not be a perfect scenario, you are reminded that safety for all is paramount and the highway code applies at all times, if you have to give way please do so.

Dogs – dogs are welcome at our event, please keep them on a lead, clear up at all times on site and visit our doggy station for treats at registration.

Start List – A start list is now available, please talk with your team, if your details are not matching please only 1 team member contact us.

Run Course – due to the recent wet weather, off road shoes or trainers with substantial grip would be beneficial. You are welcome to walk the course prior to racing.

You will be required to complete 4 events consecutively.

The Course

Swim Course: 1 x anticlockwise lap of the lake, keeping the swim buoys on your left. The lake is gravel filtered and approximately 6 metres deep, weed is usually not too much of a problem but during long bouts of hot weather this can appear in pockets. Typically, the temperature at this event is around 19°C.

Cycle Course: 1 x anticlockwise lap of the Cotswolds, which is the roads are open to the traffic, so the highway code rules always apply. Generally, the road surfaces are good, however some small stretches around working quarries have potholes to be mindful.

Run Course: 1 clockwise lap (1.5km) around the lake along a flat woodland & grass surface. During wet weather this can become slippery and muddy so choose your footwear according to the weather.

Transition: Located on grass, with a slight camber. Racking is numbered according to your race number and teams must be racked in the order they are racing. Swim end and run start entrances are one end with the bike start and bike end at the other keeping this fair for all.
