The Course

Swim Course: anticlockwise laps of the lake, keeping the swim buoys on your left. The lake is gravel filtered and approximately 6 metres deep, weed is usually not too much of a problem but during long bouts of hot weather this can appear in pockets. Typically, the temperature at this event is around 17-19°C.

Run Course: clockwise laps (1.5km) around the lake along a flat woodland & grass surface. During wet weather this can become slippery and muddy so choose your footwear according to the weather. The 600m course turns back on itself.

Transition: Located on grass, with a slight camber. Racking is numbered according to your race. Swim end and run start entrances are one opposite ends of transition keeping this fair for all.
